CHEMO CAPS
We are still collecting chemo caps. They are
distributed locally free of charge to people who need
them. If you are interested in making some, but do not
have the funds for yarn, let me know. We have some money
available for yarn. We are also making chemo caps that are
sewn. We get together once a month. Contact me at i651-257-6199,

ABOUT
OUR CLASSES
~

* If you have never knit or crocheted before or need
help getting back into it, we offer free beginner
classes. No purchase is necessary, we have supplies you
can practice with. You are welcome to come in anytime
during our regular business hours. It is best, though,
if you call ahead just to make sure someone is available
to get you started.
** For those of you who already know how to knit
and/or crochet and would like to take part in a class,
we ask that you do the following-
 |
1. Pre-register by contacting me at
651-257-6199, or email
stopping in at least one
week prior to scheduled class so we can plan
accordingly. If you decide to take a class at the last
minute, it is recommended that you call first to make
sure the class hasn’t been cancelled.
2. Prepay for the classes you would like to attend. If
the class is cancelled, your money will be refunded.

US~
My
plan for Miss Elsie's Yarnery is to provide an
opportunity for anyone interested in learning to knit or crochet
a place to do so. We offer, free of charge, classes for the
beginner. After that, Miss Elsie's has available a wide variety of class
projects for knitters and crocheters of all experience levels. |

I have enjoyed knitting ever since I learned how when I was
about 10
years old. I even remember the first scarf I made, which was for
my
mom. I don't remember when I picked up crocheting, but I have
crocheted things from doilies to rugs.
Something else that is important to me is to be able to have
ongoing
charity projects. Right now we are involved in the Warm Up
America
project and are collecting chemo caps for cancer patients in the
area.
Quality yarn is so important when knitting that special
something for
yourself or someone else. We have found some wonderful yarns and
are
continuing to build on that. What we don't have, we can special
order
and will always be happy to do so. Along with quality yarns we
carry
Addi Turbo needles. If you are not familiar with Addi Turbos,
they are
circular needles made in Germany by a company that has been in
business for something like 80 years and the needles come with a
life
time warrantee. They are such a treat to work with. We are now
carrying supplies for needle felting and offer classes in that
also.
I have found such joy in knitting and have met so many amazing
people
since opening the yarn shop. I would be honored to have you stop
by
and check us out. Anyone with a knitting emergency or
non-emergency is
always welcomed...come and sit, stitch and visit.
